The very first thing to do is fill out an application, whether it's the foster application or the adoption application. Applications are not promises or contracts that bind you in any agreement, they are a way for us to quickly learn more about you and streamline the process.

In your application you will give us a couple of references and the contact information for your vet. We will call your references and chat with them about you and your past and/or current dogs. We will call your vet to verify that your dogs have been kept up to date with vaccines, preventatives, and wellness checks.

The home visit is a chance for us to see you, your family, and any other pets in your everyday environment. We'll chat, you can ask any questions, and often times we will bring one of our dogs with us!
